Tutoring and Remediation

New Horizon School & Learning Center provides 1-1 tutorials and small group instruction tutorials in math, reading, writing and/ or study skills, and organizational skills. Tutorials are available throughout the year based on the schedule of our teachers and the need of the students.

We offer subject specific academic support and skill building towards mastery. With most students, there is an emphasis on reading comprehension, spelling, written expression, organization or study skills, and executive functioning. We strive to work collaboratively with families and schools for students who experience learning anxiety, school failure, or related external overlay. We provide Educational Therapy that combines remediation with therapeutic techniques to enhance success.
